"Brilliant location and chalet. We only had one week and didn’t appreciate the full potential Samoens has to offer for walks and biking until we arrived! Recommend hiring full suspension mountain bikes but be wary of a lack of trail/route markers. Never eaten so much cheese and great food in town. Le bout du Monde at the end of the valley and the route up to the chalet/refuges is an absolute must!"

"Our group of two couples and a 10month old little boy had the most wonderful time at Chalet Valerie! Cracking apartment in a great location in the charming town of Samoens. Previous experiences when self-catering have been things like blunt knives and non-stick pans that are no longer non-stick! But everything we could have needed was sharp! Wonderfully equipped from the Kitchen to Bathrooms. Checking in with Tim (resort manager) was easy and full of useful local knowledge for those who don’t know the town. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Chalet Valerie again on our return to Samoens. Thanks for your help with booking everything."

"A huge thanks to the Alps Accommodation team, especially Barbs who was so helpful throughout our stay. The highlights for us were undoubtedly the excellent and prompt service from all of you at Alps Accommodation. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, the sign of a company that takes customer service seriously. The welcome hamper, prompt message about where to find keys all helped us to settle in quickly. The chalet itself was superb – well equipped and designed kitchen, with two cookers and fridges made meal preparation a pleasure not a chore. Really comfy beds, power showers, and good towels and linens were appreciated, and the Molton Brown toiletries were a nice touch. We loved the table tennis table which my lads used continually, and the excellent tv, dvd and playstation were well used (although not at the expense of skiing!). Finally, the fact that you got a Christmas tree put up, and provided the fabulous hot tub which we all used daily gave us as my sister-in-law put it 'undoubtedly the best Christmas I’ve ever had’. The village and chalet itself provided a brilliant holiday. Thanks again, and we look forward to holidaying again with you soon."

"Chalet Chamoissiere was a lovely stand alone chalet, very comfortable beds. Suberb bathrooms and plentiful hot water. The living space was a pleasure and the downstairs playroom was an extra bonus. We used Mountain Kitchen during our stay as a full catering service and cannot fault Petra who cooked to a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble. All in all a superb holiday. Thank you."

"The house was more than big enough to house our 12 membered family, including the 4 small kids. All rooms had perfect and modern bathrooms, 3 of them even have a bathtub! There were lots of games, books and outdoorsy activities in order to entertain the little ones. Like a few sleds, a nice garden to play and for emergencies a TV with loads of movies. Best feature is the fireplace, as well as the nice open kitchen and the huge dining table (and floor heating!). We were blessed with half a meter of snow on 1st Christmas Day, which made the stay even more picturesque. Especially when you get to have an outside lunch in the sun on the huge balcony with a breathtaking view. In less than 10 minutes by car we were in the centre of Samoëns, and at the ski-lift. The information provided was really helpful and saved us a few hours and a lot of struggles. The best part was the heated ski locker on top of the mountain, which made the commute there and back really easy. The village is cozy and has all you need, including great wines and some good bakeries. All in all a perfect place to have a relaxing holiday!"
